When reviewing SLA Payments in Cosmos, you may see a status badge labeled "Missing data" on some payments. This article explains what it means and whether you need to take any action.
The "Missing data" status indicates that Cosmos has not yet received all the information needed to fully process this SLA Payment. Typically, this means that handling costs for the relevant period have not yet been provided by the responsible admin user.
The SLA Payment itself is safely stored in Cosmos — no data is lost. The payment simply cannot be finalized until the missing information is delivered.
In most cases, no action is required from your side. The "Missing data" status does not mean that you as a performance manager, regional manager, or procurement user need to provide the data yourself. It means the system is waiting on input from an admin user.
Once the missing data is provided, the status will update automatically and the payment will become fully available for review.
The timeline depends on when the responsible admin user submits the outstanding data. If a payment has been in "Missing data" status for an extended period and you need it resolved urgently, contact your Cosmos administrator or reach out to Cosmos support for an update.
Yes. You can open and view the payment details even while the status shows "Missing data". The information that has already been received will be displayed. Only the parts that depend on the missing data (e.g. handling cost figures) will be unavailable until the data arrives.
