In Cosmos, not every activity is carried out by an individual user. Some messages and actions are automated, and these appear under the organization's name rather than a person's.
Cosmos supports automations that handle certain steps without manual input. When an automation performs an action, that activity is attributed to the organization it runs for — so the activity shows the organization as the author instead of a specific team member.
Organizations work together with Cosmos to configure these automations and streamline their processes. Each automation runs on the organization's behalf, and any activity it produces is displayed as conducted by that organization.
Attributing automated activity to the organization keeps activities transparent. Anyone reviewing a case or record can tell which actions were taken by a person and which came from an automation, making it clear how things progressed and where each step originated.
